When I edit, I don’t just tell the author what words to change. I cater to their needs and interests. I point out what works and what needs work. It’s not about the writing being “good” or “bad.” It’s about the context—the idea of what the writer wants to put on the page. Having read, written, and edited for over six years now, I specialize in making each sentence mesh with that idea.
If you have writing that needs editing, I’m happy to help. Reach out to me and we can discuss the needs of the project, including your budget. I’m open to all kinds of work, from nonfiction books and personal essays to training manuals and technical documents. While I have a personal interest in science fiction, I have experience with just about everything else.
